Eligibility Overview

Students applying for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, or Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) should keep the following core requirements in mind: 

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year 

  • NEET-UG qualification is required 

  • Students should have completed Class 11 and Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board 

  • Eligibility may vary by course, counselling authority, state rules, and current guidelines 

  • Students should always verify the latest official requirements before making admission decisions 

Reservation and Certificate Requirement

Depending on the category claimed, students may be required to present valid supporting documents during counselling and admission. 

Key certificates and documentation support:

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) certificate 

  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate 

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) certificate 

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificate 

  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) certificate 

  • Other category-specific documents as required by the relevant authority
